The KLWAVE website has been revamped for more intuitive and convenient use. Here are the latest updates.

The KLWAVE Menu Has Been Revamped.

The existing menu has been replaced to be more intuitive and simpler to use.

• Books: Here, we provide information on Korean literary works that have not been published overseas, as well as their copyrights. Members who are publishers, agencies, or editors should first login to check the copyright information.

• Directories: Here, we provide information on Korean literature authors, expert translators, Korean and global publishers, and literature agencies.

• Grants/Award: Here, one can easily apply for support projects and public contests held by the Literature Translation Institute of Korea (LTI Korea).

-Grants: Here, one can apply for Translation and Publication Grants for Overseas Publishers, the Copyright Export Support Program, and International Exchange Grants.

-Award: Here, one can apply for the LTI Korea Translation Award for Aspiring Translators - Literature/Cultural Contents

• Events: Here, one can check diverse events related to Korean literature, such as exchange projects for foreign publishers and Korean literature review contests.

• Resources: Here, we provide diverse information on Korean literature, including bestsellers, new releases, and works by theme. For information on reporting by foreign media and events related to Korean literature, check News. For reviews, check Reviews.

The Platform’s User Interface (UI) Has Been Revamped.

We have improved the platform’s UI so that major information and contents can be checked immediately.

•The improved platform allows you to easily check the newly uploaded Featured Titles, Resources, as well as profiles of Authors, Translators, Korean Publishers, and Overseas Publishers.

•You can quickly get answers to questions related to KLWAVE’s features and services using the chatbot. For inquiries that have not been solved using the chatbot, you may check by accessing About Us > Contact Us.

• You can also check notices and news on content uploads by simply registering your email address at the bottom of the page.

A Dashboard Has Been Generated on the Home Page to View Major News at Once.

You can browse the dashboard to check not only your account information, contents, and application status for public contest projects but also recommended content.

Other Features Have Been Improved and Generated.

You can link the publisher and agency’s organizational member account with the editor’s personal member account.

• In the case of existing editors, register the publisher on My Page > Account at the bottom of the menu to apply for public contest projects with your editor account.

• When becoming a member, you can also link the affiliated publisher to apply for public contest projects with your editor account.

• From an organizational account, you can check the application history of affiliated editors all at once. Editor management is also available by accessing My Page > Account at the bottom of the menu.

Features for translator members have been enhanced.

• If you are a translator member, you can register your recommendation/anticipation by accessing Books > Featured Titles for Rights Sales. (ex: https://klwave.or.kr/klw/books/408615/featuredView.do)

If applying for both Translation and Publication Grants for Overseas Publishers, it is easier to register the translator records.

• If you are a translator and a KLWAVE member, register by accessing My Page > My Content > Profile for grants to automatically retrieve the relevant details when applying for support.

You can also submit the results report of the public contest for International Exchange Grants through KLWAVE.

• Check the email requesting the registration of the results report and then access My Page > Grants > Grants Management to submit the report.

• You can also manage records related to the results report.
