Choi Eun-young, who sold 200,000 copies of and 100,000 copies of returns with her first full-length novel. She was selected as a promising young writer by readers who will lead the future of Korean literature.

This novel has been serialized for a year in the Quarterly Munhakdongne in 2020. After the careful refinement, the book came to the reader. Choi Eun-young has been distinguished with novellas such as ‘Shoko’s Smile’ and ‘Hanji and Young-joo’ with her delicate observation and storytelling and such strength is well revealed in this new novel. The author has been receiving wide readers' wide support and literary spotlight since she made her debut with sympathetic stories and thoughtful sentences. This novel is about four women of four generations from one to one’s great grandmother, and it will once again impress readers with her loving eyes on life.

Choi Eun-young

Born in 1984, Choi Eun-young studied Korean literature in Korea University. She began writing full time after winning the Jakgasegae New Author Award for “Shoko’s Smile,” which also won the 5th Munhakdongne Young Author Award. She also won Huhgwun Literature Author Award, Kim Jun-sung Literature Award, Lee Hejo Literature Award, and Munhakdongne Young Author Award.
