Description 작품 소개

34 year-old Jo Hye-na is a film director who did not produce anything notable after her first movie <One Chance> flopped. One day, she is invited as a guest by Jong-hyun, now a well-known actor and her ex-boyfriend, to a Guest Visit (talk session with guests) to discuss the independent films she made with Jong-hyun in her early days. However, at the GV, she is attacked by the so-called “GV Villain” Go Tae-gyung. Also known as the “Beret Villain” among movie fans for his harsh criticism during GVs, Go Tae-gyung criticizes the editing of <One Chance>, and their dispute goes viral. After the incident, Hye-na learns that Go Tae-gyung was the assistant director of her favorite movie <Green Apple> and is struck by an idea that she should film a documentary with him as the main character. After Hye-na's constant pleading and persuading, Go agrees to participate in the documentary project, but he has one demand. Hye-na must help him meet Che Hwa-yeong, one of the protagonists of <Green Apple> and the most prominent actress at present, as he has a scenario to give her.

For the documentary, Hye-na seeks help from her friends from film school and learns about their current situation. Many left film industry, but some remain like Seung-ho who is working part-time jobs as production assistant. Hye-na and Go Tae-gyung proceed with filming despite the small disputes and conflicts, and in the process Hye-na learns that there is more to the man than just a "Villain." In the meantime, Hye-na and Jong-hyun also reconnects and old feelings return between them. When <One Chance> is unexpectedly invited to the Warsaw Film Festival, Hye-na puts aside the documentary project and heads to Warsaw with Jong-hyun, hoping to revive their relationship. But unlike Hye-na's expectation, the two continues to argue and while spending time with Jong-hyun, Hye-na misses the moment her movie receives its first awards ever at the festival.

Hye-na returns to Korea exhausted with hurt feelings but try to continue her work with Go Tae-gyung. However, the two gets into a big fight after Go criticizes the rough cut Hye-na edited. Hye-na ends up calling him a coward who is unable to even show his scenario to others out of fear of moving forward. Furthermore, Seung-ho, who was helping out with the documentary announces that he is giving up film making, which puts Hye-na into a standstill along with the upcoming deadline for the documentary.
