This is LEE Ki-Ho’s first short story collection. The collection comprises of eight pieces including CHOI Sun-Duk: Filled with Holy Spirit. In his debut CHOI Sun-Duk: Filled with Holy Spirit, the writer voices the story hrough the protagonist’s rap and beat boxes. A high school dropout, the first person narrative runs an information office and works as a procurer for prostitutes. One day, his friend’s sister, Soon-Hee, comes to visit. She is able to communicate only through rap and songs. However, her name becomes well known in the industry despite the protagonist’s initial concerns, and soon comes to represent the Spring Chick Office. Then one night, after checking into a hotel room the girl disappears. Six months later she appears in TV as Bernie the new hit female rapper.
LEE Ki-Ho
Born in 1972, in Wonju, Gangwon-do. He is The Winner of LEE Hyo-Seok Literary Award(2010), Hankookilbo Literary Award(2014), KIM Seung-Ok Literary Award(2013).
