Description 작품 소개

The protagonist of the story, named Byeongil, considers reading to be the only joy in his life. He lives alone, his life is monotonous and boring. One day on his way home, Byeongil got caught in the rain and decided to wait it out under the eaves of a house. The homeowner invited Byeongil inside.

This is how Byeongil met a photographer. Long conversations over glasses of rice wine on rainy evenings give Byeongil food for thought—which of them is right, how should one live? After long reflection and doubt, Byeongil decides not to meet with the photographer anymore.

Later, from the newspaper Byeongil learns that the photographer has died of typhoid fever. Byeongil decides to return to his abandoned reading and continue his path, unlike any other.
