여섯 편의 소설 그리고 에세이


소설향 앤솔러지 시리즈의 첫 번째 책, 『초록 땀』이 출간되었다. 김화진, 문진영, 이서수, 공현진, 김희선, 김사과 작가가 ‘색’과 ‘향’을 테마로 한 이야기들로 그 문을 열어 보인다.

1998년 ‘소설의 향기, 소설의 본향’이라는 슬로건으로 첫선을 보인 중편소설 시리즈 ‘소설향’은 ‘소설의 본향, 영향, 반향’이라는 새로운 슬로건으로 다시 선보이며 2세대 ‘소설, 향’으로 이어지고 있다. ‘소설향 앤솔러지’는 소설에 대한 열의와 희망을 되새기고, 한국문학의 오늘과 내일을 채우는 작가들과의 만남의 장을 지속적이고도 발 빠르게 마련하기 위해 기획되었다.

하나의 공통된 주제를 저마다의 이야기로 풀어내는 소설향 앤솔러지의 이번 테마는 ‘색’과 ‘향’이다. 감각은 인지하기에 앞서 우리에게 주어지는 것이다. 감각으로 보는 세계는 그러기에 더욱 기민하게 현실을 포착하며 우리의 의식을 보다 깊고 넓게 확장한다.

Kim Hwa-Jin began her literary career in 2021 when her short story "About Naju" won the New Year's Literary Award from The Munhwa Ilbo. She also received the 47th Today's Writer Award for the same work.
