데뷔 4년 만에 최연소로 이상문학상 대상을 수상하며 한국문학의 혁명적 발견이라 불리는 예소연 작가의 소설집 《너의 나쁜 무리》가 출간되었다. 수상 당시 “신선함, 즉 혁명성이 있었다”(은희경 소설가), “시대의 과제가 달라졌음을, 새로운 질문을 통과하고 있음을 알려준다”(최진영 소설가)와 같은 상찬을 받은 작가가 “마음이 꽉 차오르고 살아갈 용기가 생기는 느낌” “소설의 힘을 다시금 송연히 믿게 만든다”며 독자들의 열렬한 지지를 얻은 첫 소설집 《사랑과 결함》 이후 내놓는 신작이다.
