문학을 잇고 문학을 조명하는 [현대문학 핀 시리즈]
한국 시 문학의 절정을 보여줄 세 번째 컬렉션

현대문학의 새로운 한국 문학 시리즈인 [현대문학 핀 시리즈] 시인선이 출범한 지 1년 만에 세 번째 컬렉션 『현대문학 핀 시리즈 VOL. Ⅲ』를 출간한다. 작품을 통해 작가를 충분히 조명한다는 취지로 월간 『현대문학』 2018년 7월호부터 12월호까지 작가 특집란을 통해 수록된 바 있는 여섯 시인―이제니, 황유원, 안희연, 김상혁, 백은선, 신용목―의 시와 에세이를 여섯 권 소시집으로 묶었다.

문학의 정곡을 찌르면서 동시에 문학과 독자를 이어주는 ‘핀’으로 자리매김한 새로운 형태의 소시집 [현대문학 핀 시리즈] 시인선. 그 세 번째 컬렉션은 지금, 여기 한국 시 문학의 한복판에서 누구보다도 빛나는 존재감을 드러내고 있는 여섯 시인으로 꾸려졌다. 젊은 에너지와 각자의 개성을 무기로 한국 시 문학의 중심으로 진입하여 그 절정기를 이끌어가고 있는 선두주자들로서, 그들의 빼어난 저력을 확인해볼 수 있다는 점에서 더욱 특별한 컬렉션이다.

아티스트와의 컬래버레이션이라는 특색을 갖춰 이목을 집중시키는 핀 시리즈 시인선의 이번 시집의 표지 작품은 설치와 조각을 주로 하는 구현모 작가의 매혹적인 드로잉 작품들로 이루어졌다. 자연과 인공의 경계를 허물고 흐트러뜨린 아티스트의 작품세계를 엿볼 수 있는 아이디어 스케치들이 각각의 시집과 어우러져 독자들에게 끝없는 영감을 불러일으킨다.

An Hee-yeon안희연

An Heeyeon’s major works include the poetry collections When Your Sadness Gets in the Way, Within What We Call Night, What I Learned on the Summer Hill, and Walking the Carrot Field, as well as the essay collections House of Words and The Moment I Picked It Up. She has received the Changbi New Poet Award, the Shin Dong-yup Literary Award, and the Sanghwa Poet Award. She is currently working in the Playwriting Department at Korea National University of Arts.
