Description
The Literature Translation Institute of Korea (LTI Korea) is a public institution established in 1996 under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism with the vision of playing a pivotal role in establishing Korean literature as world literature. To this end, LTI Korea is engaged in various activities such as subsiding the translation and publication of Korean literature overseas, supporting international exchanges, and training the next-generation of translators. As of 2022, around 1,795 titles in 44 languages have been published overseas with the support of LTI Korea. On KLWAVE, you can read sample translation manuscripts and search for Korean titles published overseas. You can also apply for grants for the translation, publication, and marketing of Korean titles.
