Yang Kyung-il (1970-) is a South Korean comic book creator who debuted in 1993 with the comic series Somasinhwajeongi (소마신화전기 Blade of Heaven), and gained mainstream popularity with sharp, weighty linework. Yang was among the first generation of Korean comic book creators to export their work to Japan, and was particularly famous for the comic series Sinamhaengeosa (신암행어사 New Secret Royal Inspector).
