Author Bio 작가 소개
Shin Jaehyo (1812-1884) is a pansori theorist and writer from the Joseon Dynasty. He was a chungin (upper middle class) in the Joseon Dynasty but was later granted the status of yangban for his contribution to the country. He gathered pansori experts from each region and appreciated the art with other yangban, even educating people on pansori. He is considered to have played an unparalleled role in the development of the pansori art in the Joseon Dynasty.
