지수현(1973~)은 한국의 소설가이다. 대학에서 산업디자인을 전공했다. 2000년에 다니던 직장을 그만두고 글쓰기를 시작했다. 소설을 올리는 인터넷 사이트를 발견하고 《누나와 나 혹은 그녀석과 나》라는 인터넷 소설을 써서 화제를 모았다. 《내 이름은 김삼순》은 드라마화되었다. 즐겁고 밝은 캐릭터 ‘김삼순’이 대중적 인기를 끌었다. 정작 지수현은 이 캐릭터를 만들던 당시 자신의 삶에서는 즐거운 일이 없었던 시기였다고 밝혔다. ‘김삼순’이라는 인물은 나이가 들었지만 씩씩하게 살며 즐겁게 연애하는 이야기를 만들자는 결심으로 탄생한 캐릭터이다. 《내 이름은 김삼순》에 나오는 에피소드의 대부분이 작가의 직간접적인 경험담이라고 알려져 있다.
