KBOOKS Publishing, our publishing arm, has published books in the fiction, nonfiction, poetry, translations, educational, and children's genres, and has won almost every national level literary award to date. As of 2025, we have published over 140 printed titles and more than 1,900 digital titles (eBooks and Audiobooks). We collaborate closely with a diverse network of rights agents and authors from US, UK, India, Nepal, Turkey, Russia, Japan, Azerbaijan...etc to bring quality content to Sri Lankan readers. We also look forward to introducing South Korean literature and Business Books to Sri Lankan readers under KBOOKS imprint.
Also, KBOOKS owns kbooks.lk, Sri Lanka's leading eCommerce printed book delivery platform with over 100,000 registered book lovers, We also own few retail outlets under the brand, KBOOKS - The Bookshop and currently expanding our retail presence.
Our strong presence on Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, enables us to significantly enhance the visibility of our titles and engage with a wider audience.
Moreover, our Digital Publishing Arm, KReader is a digital reading framework for local languages/vernacular languages with eBooks, Audiobooks and AI powered speech synthesis to batch process human-like Audiobooks with emotions for local languages. KReader is mainly a technology-driven company specializing in language technologies and digital publishing. KReader was awarded the Best Tech Startup, 1st Runner Up in Sri Lanka award in 2023 and has also listed in the National Innovation Index Top 100 Innovations in Sri Lanka for the year 2024 for our AI Model.
Since 2017, both KBOOKS and KReader (Since 2022) have established a strong presence in Sri Lanka’s publishing industry, recognized for pioneering digital innovation and advancing accessibility in reading with many award winning titles under our portfolio.
