Translator Bio 번역가 소개
Joheun (Jo) Lee is a Korean-to-English literary translator and writer from South Korea, drawn to stories of desire, relationships, and identity by Korean women and queer writers. Her translations include Lee Heejoo's Holy Boy (Picador/HarperVia, 2026), Amil's The Forest Called You (Harvill Secker, 2026), and Kyoungsun Lim's The Unsaid (World Editions, 2027). A recipient of multiple LTI Korea and KPIPA sample translation grants, she has published short fiction and essay translations in Asymptote, The Exchanges, and other journals. She is also the author of the middle-grade K-pop fantasy series K-Pop Spirit Academy (Farshore). She will begin her Master's in Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Fall 2026.
