The Literature Translation Institute of Korea, in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles, is pleased to present a meaningful event dedicated to sharing the appeal of Korean literature with a wider audience.
This special program in Los Angeles will feature three leading Korean authors—Sang Young Park, Cheon Seon Ran, and Lee Min-ha—who explore themes of love and the future through their works, alongside two prominent diaspora writers, Crystal Hana Kim and Jennifer Kwon Dobbs. Together, they will engage in conversations about their literary worlds, shedding light on the expanded landscape of Korean literature.
We warmly invite you to join this unique occasion, where Korean literature comes alive through diverse formats, including screen adaptations, a special exhibition at the LA Times Festival of Books, and author signings.
한국문학번역원은 주로스앤젤레스 한국문화원과 협력하여 한국문학의 매력 확산을 위한 뜻깊은 자리를 마련했습니다. 이번 LA 행사에는 한국문학을 통해 사랑과 미래를 이야기하는 한국 대표 작가 3인(박상영, 천선란, 이민하)과 디아스포라 대표 작가 2인(크리스탈 하나 김, 제니퍼 권 돕스)이 참여하여 서로의 작품 세계를 나누며 한국문학의 확장된 지형을 조명합니다. 영상화된 한국문학, LA타임즈 도서축제에서의 한국문학 전시, 사인회 등 다채로운 방법으로 한국문학을 이야기하는 특별한 순간에 여러분을 초대합니다.
