2026 Seoul International Writers’ Festival

 

LTI Korea is pleased to present the 2026 Seoul International Writers’ Festival under the theme “Who are we?”

This year’s festival takes the everyday question “Who are you?” and expands it into a broader inquiry into the identities of individuals and communities. At a time when artificial intelligence and non-human beings have emerged as major topics of discussion, the festival invites us to explore what it means to be human and the role literature can play in this changing world.

A total of 24 writers—14 from Korea and 10 from around the world—will take part in a diverse range of programs, including one-on-one conversations between Korean and international writers, conversations between writers and translators, and interactive workshops.

2026 서울국제작가축제 개최 안내


한국문학번역원은 ‘누구세요?(Who are we?)’를 주제로 2026 서울국제작가축제를 개최합니다.

올해 서울국제작가축제는 타인을 향한 일상적인 질문인 ‘누구세요?’를 인간과 공동체의 정체성을 되묻는 질문으로 확장하여, 인공지능과 비인간 존재가 화두로 떠오른 시대에 사람다움의 가치와 문학의 역할을 함께 모색하고자 합니다.


국내 작가 14명과 해외 작가 10명 등 총 24명의 작가를 1:1 대담, 작가와 번역가의 대담, 관객 참여형 워크숍 등 다양한 프로그램에서 만날 수 있습니다.
