Description 작품 소개
A Chain of Dark Tales
In this collection, every single story – broken chain pieces, follows one to another working towards the whole. As each title suggests including A Hunchback, A Dream with A Camel, Snipe at Oneself, Crazy Elephant, To Imagine Killing Someone, Talk with Kafka, the overall tone of these stories is very nihilistic and apocalyptic. In these stories often appear, as subject matter, a dwarf or a hunchback in deep sorrow over fate or a nightmare that implies human anxiety. The characters’ confession monologues in the dark depressing mood might perplex readers, who may be confused about whether they are reading fictional narration or a description of reasoning. However, what the author offers through these stories is a consistent image, not content. And so readers will find the stories interesting while using their own imagination to enjoy his unique symbols and metaphors. This collection of short stories depicts alienation, extreme loneliness and existential anxiety in modern society through allegory, metaphorical images, situations and setting.
