 Your Shadow Is Monday

A writer who really enjoy novels and who writes fun stories for readers, KIM Jung-Hyuk has released a new book, once again dealing with unusual and amusing subject matter. This novel tells the story of a “deleter,” who gets rid of his clients’s secrets so that others will not find out about them. The story begins with a client visiting Gu Dong-Ghi at his detective agency, located on the 4th floor of the dark and stinking Crocodile Building. his clients can die, leaving only what they want to be remembered for, because He will get rid of any displeasing traces. There is a deal between a powerful rich man and those who learned of his ugly secrets. And at their request, He is about to start his investigation in order to remove the traces of the secrets. “One’s wanting to be more loved while being alive is like a gentle grip on life; one’s wanting to be remembered as a good person after his death is an ugly, greedy obsession about life.” This fun and interesting story, achieved by the author’s keen insight into the selfish desires of every one of us, reflects warmth toward people going about their daily lives and human dignity in a cool and pleasing manner.
