Cho Yong-jin조용진

After graduating from the Oriental Painting Department and graduate school at Hongik University, he served as a professor in the Art Department at Seoul National University of Education. With a keen interest in anatomy like Da Vinci, he studied independently and researched human anatomy for seven years at a medical school, later earning his doctorate from Tokyo University of the Arts. Currently, he is the director of the Korean Trait Culture Research Institute, where he studies facial science and culture, building a database of 20,000 faces to restore the features of Koreans. Additionally, he continues to create artwork as a professor and teaches traditional portrait techniques to his students while also pursuing vocal studies.
