The first nuclear threat against humanity: Putin’s madness, stemming from his fall from power, must be halted! How can we be sure nuclear weapons won’t be deployed in a war marked by imminent defeat?
Million-seller author Kim Jinmyung writes about the Ukraine war in his new novel,
A Perfect Way to Kill Putin
“I wrote this book with the belief that people around the world must come together
to overcome Putin’s nuclear threats”
In the northern city of Bucha in Kyiv, Ukraine, Mikhail loses his wife and daughter in a raid by Russian soldiers, and he himself loses consciousness in the attack. This happens in the middle of this birthday dinner. Overwhelmed by grief, Mikhail attempts suicide without success, and eventually vanishes from his village.
Stony, a member of the top-secret operation “Never Again” led by U.S. President Biden, is assigned a mission to rescue a Russian female humanitarian activist. To seek assistance, he contacts his former colleague from the U.S. Naval Academy days, Kevin Han. Living in a remote village in Ethiopia, Kevin gains recognition for his unconventional tactics in aiding the rescue mission and is subsequently recruited into Never Again.
Mikhail, who vanished from Bucha, miraculously survives the Battle of Bakhmut as a war hero but is transported to a military hospital with three gunshot wounds. Struggling with both physical and mental pain, he is approached by a fellow patient, none other than Kevin Han. As a friendship develops between them, Kevin proposes a plan to steal a legendary diamond owned by an arms dealer with ties to the Russian mob, intending to use the proceeds to aid Ukrainian refugees. Soon, they embark on recruiting Ukrainian criminals for their mission.
Meanwhile, faced with the steadfast refusal of any ceasefire conditions from Western countries, Putin, the Russian President, plunges into deep contemplation. Retreating at this juncture would mark the end of his power. With unwavering determination, he resolves to employ any means necessary to make a breakthrough.
Simultaneously, the U.S. Submarine Command initiated a mission to submerge the strategic nuclear submarine Rhode Island, armed with 288 warheads, into the Black Sea. However, Rhode Island encounters an accident after being chased by Russia...
Unveiling operation “Never Again”: tracking the course of a strategic nuclear submarine armed with 288 warheads, poised to counter Russia’s nuclear threat
“Only one person needs to die to end this war.”
Kim Jinmyung, a writer representing our times and lauded by The Times, Newsweek, and the CIA website, unfolds his imaginative prowess as he crafts an operation aimed at eliminating Putin.
“The war is unlikely to end easily, and even if it does, the specter of recurrence looms as long as Putin remains. Attaining true peace necessitates his elimination, yet the reality is that no one can lay a finger on him.”
