Description 작품 소개

"Spread me out, freely I shall flow

Become a river, become an ocean, become magma."

With boundless imagination, courage, and love,

the poet passionately embraces every moment of life.

Spring Day Books recently released Cha Do-ha's book of poetry The Hand of the Future. This is the poet's first collection of poems, having begun her literary career through the 2020 New Year's Literary Contest by the Korea Daily. It is also a posthumous work, as the poet tragically passed away at the age of twenty-four on October 22, 2023. The poet, who received praise for "the courage to tackle themes that are not easily approachable" and "the fullness of individuality that no established poet could easily conceive," has since been evaluated as putting forward a voice which is truthful and full of passion.

The Hand of the Future puts together sixty-two of her poems, and fervently embraces every moment of life with boundless imagination, courage, and love, from its stifling realities to its promise of a new future.
