Kim Yurim (Lightness)’s illustrations are not easily skimmed over. Readers cannot help but linger on each picture, imagining themselves in the main character’s place. Riding a motorcycle with Jesus or jogging together, the reader basks in a relaxed yet joyful sense of comfort, while the sight of the hand of the Lord protecting the main character from a rainstorm fills the reader with deep consolation. The strength of these illustrations is to be discovered within them every emotion we experience in our everyday lives.

When she expresses Heavenly Father's heart, she writes and illustrates hoping that she expresses His heart well. Also, she is eager to be his happiest child and the most useful tool during the time. She wrote and illustrated Beginning to a Journey with Jesus (Togijangi), God, How Was Your Day (Kyujang), and she worked as an illustrator for Hello, Christianity (Togijangi), God, Am I Living Well? (Nexus Cross).
