I, the protagonist, am a night guard at a mysterious research institute located in the middle of nowhere. The institute has many
different rooms, where each room houses a haunted object. My job is to walk those halls at night according to the midnight timetable and check if the doors are all locked. My senior colleague, who has been here much longer, tells me stories about the institute, its history, and the objects.
