Kim Un-su (Hangul 김언수; born 1972) is a South Korean writer. He studied Korean literature at Kyung Hee University, where he also completed master’s level coursework. He made his literary debut when his short stories “Cham shipgye baeuneun geuljitgigyosil” (참 쉽게 배우는 글짓기교실 Easy Writing Lessons) and “Danbaljang seuteuriteu” (단발장 스트리트 Danbaljang Street) won the Jinju News Writing Contest in fall 2002 and “Peuraidaewa gyeolbyeolhada” (프라이데이와 결별하다 Breaking up with Friday) won the Dong-a Ilbo New Writer's Contest in 2003. His novel Kaebinit (캐비닛 The Cabinet) won the 12th Munhakdongne Novel Award in 2006 and Tteugeoun Pi (뜨거운 피 Hot Blood) won the 22nd Hahn Moo-Sook Literary Prize in 2017. Seolgyejadeul (설계자들 The Plotters) was shortlisted for Grand Prix de Literature Policière.
Chung So-hyun
정소현
Chung So-hyun was born in Seoul in 1975. She made her literary debut in 2008 after winning the Munwha Ilbo New Writer’s Contest. She has published two short story collections, The Human Who Makes Mistakes (later renamed as Someone Who Looks Like You) and A Dignified Life, as well as the novella Assailants. She has won various awards over the years, including the Munhak Dongne Young Writer’s Award, the Kim Jun-sung Literary Award, the Hankook Ilbo Literary Award, and the Hyundae Munhak Literary Award.
Choung Myung Seob

Choung Myung Seob (1973~) is a South Korean novelist. His writing career began in 2006 with the publication of the novel Jeokpae (적폐), a new interpretation of General Ulji Mundok. Jung takes a new look at various historical figures using his imagination, and reconstructs their stories in the mystery and thriller genres. He has co-authored a number of books with other writers, such as Hangukchuriseurilleodanpyeonseon (한국추리스릴러단편선 Korean Mystery Thriller Short Story Collection) (2008), which includes his short story “Burui sarin” (불의 살인 Murder by Fire). •Novel Yupumjeongnisa (유품정리사 Organizing Articles Left by the Deceased) (2019) •Novel Joseonui hyeongsadeul (조선의 형사들 Joseon’s Detectives) (2021)

Graduated from the Faculty of Media Studies at Sunchonhyang University, the author writes melancholy yet gentle stories across various genres and formats, including short stories, novels, webtoons, and web novels. His book, 『Tester Child』, has earned them the Excellence Award at the 4th Changbi×Cacao Page English Dult Novel Award.
