I Eunseong (1937~1988) was a South Korean novelist. He debuted as a writer in 1967 by winning the Dong-a Ilbo New Writer`s Contest for his short story “Nokseunseon” (녹슨선 Rusty Line). Published posthumously in 1990, his novel Soseol Donguibogam (소설 동의보감) is based on the TV screenplay “Gibnyeom” (집념 Obsession) that he’d written for in 1976.
