She is a multimedia artist who explores themes of patriarchy, queerness, and the boundaries of gender and media. Graduating from Seoul National University with a degree in Western Painting, she has been actively working across various media since 2004, developing a unique queer aesthetic with a distinctive sense of humor. Her notable works include the sitcom "Urat Papa" and books such as 『The Queer Neighbor Ivanjiha』 and 『Why Am I So Funny?』.

She was born in Yeongdeok, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. She began her police career by passing the recruitment exam and became the first female homicide detective in South Korea's history at the age of 23. In 2021, she retired as chief of the criminal division.

He is a professor in the Department of Korean Language and Literature at Dong-A University, where he teaches reading and writing. He has introduced books to people through the TV program "Back to Books" and the radio show "Lee Guk-hwan’s Morning Book Reading."
