Jeon Gun Woo began his literary career in 2008 with the short story “Light Sleep,” and has since consistently published horror, mystery, and thriller stories. He has written novels such as The Storytellers of the Night, Whirlpool, Twisted House, and Fog Labyrinth; and story collections like Alone at Midnight, Ghost Story Collector, Friday's Ghost Story Meeting, and In the World of the Undead. His novel Twisted House was adapted into a film, and Gosiwon Ghost Stories and Salon de Holmes are set to be made into a movie and a drama series, respectively.
As a child, Jeon loved telling entertaining stories to people. Now, as an adult and a novelist, he continuously crafts diverse works and is known as the Prince of Horror, Mystery, and Thriller genres. With the same spirit of courage and resilience as the national hero Admiral Yi Sun-sin, who defended the country against all odds, he wrote this book to encourage everyone to bravely face their daily challenges.
