Kwon Kitae

Kwon Kitae (1966~) is a Korean journalist and novelist. From 1992 to 2006, he served as a reporter for the culture desk at The Dong-a Ilbo. Around the time of the 2003 Iraq War, he worked as a war correspondent. Published in 1988, his short story “Ipdae” (Enlistment) received the Daehak Literary Award. In 2006, Kwon won Today’s Writer Award for his first novel Paradaiseu gadeun (파라다이스 가든 Paradise Garden).
