She studied design at Hongik University and Konstpak University of the Arts in Sweden. She illustrated “Pupu the Bad Calf” and wrote and illustrated the books “Hello, My Sweater” and “I'm Not Really Lying!”.

2. Writing

Jo younggeul became a picture book author because I love books and drawing is the most fun in the world. She was selected as an illustrator gallery artist for the 2022 Asian Children's Content Festival (AFCC), one of the three WEE Picture Book Award winners in 2022 (Seohyun Seo, Hyoeun Kim, and Youngle Cho), and was invited as a representative children's author to participate in a “Literature Concert” for children to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Children's Day organized by the Korea Arts Council.
