Description
The Center for the Art of Translation (CAT) is a San Francisco 501(c)(3) non-profit that celebrates global literary voices and the art of translation.
For 25 years, our publications, events, and educational programming have expanded the range of world writing available to readers, built community, advanced the translation field, and honored linguistic and cultural diversity in classrooms.
Two Lines Press, CAT’s award-winning translation press, publishes exceptional new international voices and overlooked classics and expands the library of literature available to readers in English.
