Description 작품 소개
Even The Birds Leave the World
HWANG Ji-Woo represents Korean avant-garde poetry. In his poems, the experimentation and lyricism are one and the same. His poems are intensely realistic and at the same time modern. They are also shockingly contemporary and contemporaneous. His first anthology, Even The Birds Leave The World has audaciously dismantled the traditional concept of a poem and he has boldly experimented with language, coming up with an avant-garde style. But in the process of the deconstruction of forms, he has incorpo-rated acerbic parody, and a powerfully negative spirit, while effectively revealing the sorrow lurking underneath. For him, the methodology of writing a poem is the message of his poem.
