Author Bio 작가 소개
Byun Yeongro (1897~1961) was a South Korean poet. He made his literary debut in 1921 by publishing his works “Kkum maneun naege” (꿈 많은 나에게 Full of Dreams) and “ Naui kkumeun” (나의 꿈은 My Dream) in Pyeheo. His poetry mainly sought to awaken the national soul using soft melodies and lyricism. In particular, the familiar rhythm used in his poetry finds its origin in folk songs.
