Park YeonJoon(1980~) is a South Korean poet. She made her literary debut in 2004 by winning the the JoongAng New Writer’s Award for her poem “ Please Give Me Ice” (얼음을 주세요). Park unravels life and reality through the stories of individuals, women, and families. In particular, she speaks consciously of the special power of the language of poetry, as well as the intimate wounds she faces in daily life. 

1. Life

Park Yeonjun was born in Seoul in 1980. She graduated from Dongduk Women’s University with a creative writing major.

2. Writing

She has written collections of poems such as "A Scream that Eyelashes Make", "Father Called Me Sister-In-Law", "Venus Pudica", and "Night, Rain, and Snake". She has also written collections of essays such as "Turmoil", "Read as My Morning Greeting", "The Nights are Long and Lonely", "Life Goes Weird",  "X Month, X Day", and "Writing Moods". She has also written the children’s story "Honestly No Idea".
