Kim Eunguk (1932-2009) was a South Korean-American novelist who completed military service as an army first lieutenant before immigrating to the United States. In 1963, Kim received a master’s degree in Far Eastern literature from the Department of Far Eastern Language and Literature, and debuted in 1964 with the English-language novel Martyrs. Exploring the thoughts of a Christian and the problem of human salvation, the work was a twenty-week bestseller in the United States and was translated into more than twenty languages, including Korean and German. Lee Ji Hyeon (1962- ) is a South Korean children’s author. She began her literary career in 1999 by winning the MBC Original Children’s Book Prize in the novel category.

No Seung-il (1943-) is a South Korean poet and baduk columnist. Since working as a journalist for the monthly magazine Baduk in 1969, he has published fiction about baduk. In 2000, he published Orin (올인All In), the story about Ch’a Min-su, a real baduk player, and the vicissitudes of his life. Nam Sang-sun (1963~) is a South Korean novelist. She made her literary debut in 1992 when her short story “San neomeoeneun gijeoksoriga” (산 너머에는 기적소리가 Over the Mountain) won the Munwha Ilbo New Writer’s Contest. Published in 1993, her novel Huin baemeul chajaseo (흰 뱀을 찾아서 In Search of the White Snake) won the 17th Today’s Writer Award. Lee was born in Jecheon, Chungbuk and majored in Arts. In 2010, He was selected as an illustrator for the Bologna International Children's Book Fair.
