About Event

Literaturhaus Berlin, the first literature house in a German speaking country, was founded in 1986. A publicly funded cultural and educational institution, it is dedicated to promoting the literatures of the world, making them accessible to the general public through contemporary formats such as readings, panel talks and exhibitions. Literaturhaus Berlin engages with contemporary issues through the literature it showcases. It transcends national, formal and generic borders with a programme that includes prose, poetry, drama, fiction, graphic novels, radio plays and audiobooks. Digital formats are also embraced, even those yet to be fully developed and understood.

The author in conversation with Sool Park. Vidina Popov will perform the reading in German and Korean language.


Winner of the Korea Science Fiction Award for her first novel, the author joins us today for a conversation in Korean and German with literary scholar Sool Park. Vidina Popov will be reading.
