Published in 2009, this is the fourteenth collection of Hwang Tonggyu’s poems. The book deals with physical pain and suffering and is based on his own experience of struggling against an illness. In the poems, the poet accepts his old and decrepit body and searches for the joy of life. Unlike his previous poems, which deal with history or reality, the poet examines his own pain and subsequent realizations.
