Kwon Kitae (1966~) is a Korean journalist and novelist. From 1992 to 2006, he served as a reporter for the culture desk at The Dong-a Ilbo. Around the time of the 2003 Iraq War, he worked as a war correspondent. Published in 1988, his short story “Ipdae” (Enlistment) received the Daehak Literary Award. I Eunseong (1937~1988) was a South Korean novelist. He debuted as a writer in 1967 by winning the Dong-a Ilbo New Writer`s Contest for his short story “Nokseunseon” (녹슨선 Rusty Line). Born in Seoul in 1979, he graduated from the Creative Writing Department at Soongsil University. During middle school, he laid the foundation for his writing skills by adapting his father's comic storyboards, and he made his debut with the parody novel "A Letter from Holmes." After winning various literary contests, he became a full-time writer following his success with "The Red Sofa," which earned him the World Literature Award. He has published novels such as "There is No Twist" and "Hate Suicide," and a short story in the anthology "When Everyone Disappears" is set to be adapted into a film.
