Tae-shik Kang (1972~) is a South Korean novelist. In 2012, he won the 17th Hankyoreh Literary Award for Gutbai dongmurwon (굿바이 동물원 Goodbye Zoo), and in 2018, he won the 4th Huangshanbeol YA Literary Award for Riui byeol (리의 별 Lee’s Star). Bora Chung translates modern literary works from Russian and Polish into Korean and writes generally unrealistic stories. Among her works, Cursed Bunny, a collection of short stories, was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize in 2022 and was a finalist for National Book Awards in 2023. She is currently an active member of the Science Fiction Writers Union of Korea.
Park Heungyong

Park Heungyong (1961-) is a South Korean graphic novelist. He made his debut in 1981 with Dolgaebaram (돌개바람 Whirlwind), and won the grand prize in the Manhwagwangjang New Graphic Novel Contest with Baekji (백지 Blank Paper) in 1986. Park received acclaim from critics and readers for his originality and artistry in depicting Korean sentiments, stories, and philosophical messages. In 1996, he received the “Korea Graphic Novel Culture Award for Writing” hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for his graphic novel Gureumeul beoseonan dalcheoreom (구르믈 버서난 달처럼Like the Moon Escaping From the Clouds), which was selected as one of the “Korean Books 100” at Frankfurt International Book Fair in 2015.
