Yang Changgyu is a South Korean comic book creator. As a reporter for the Chungnam Ilbo, Yang serialized both comic strips and satirical comics, and received awards from the Taejeon Expo ’93 International Comic Book Competition and the Seoul International Comic Book Competition. Yang’s published works inclue Haejeok hakkyogagi (해적 학교가기 Going to Pirate School), Wonsiin hakkyogagi (원시인 학교가기 Going to Primitive Humans’ School), Parao hakkyogagi (파라오 학교가기 Going to Pharaoh School), and Eseukimo hakkyogagi (에스키모 학교가기 Going to Eskimo School).
