Choe Yungyo is a South Korean novelist and TV writer. Cho was awarded the runner-up prize for the 2014 MBC Miniseries Script Competition (MBC 극본공모 미니시리즈 부분), and wrote Dan, hanaui sarang (단, 하나의 사랑 Angel’s Last Mission: Love) (2019) and Unppallomanseu (운빨로맨스 Lucky Romance) (2016). Choe was awarded the first Kyobo Books Purple Romance Competition Grand Prize (퍼플로맨스 공모전 대상) in 2013 with the novel Singgeulbil (싱글빌 Singleville).
