Kim In soon (1970-) is a writer of ethnic Korean background in China. As a 70s-born writer in the Chinese literary community, Kim has published more than 1 million characters’ worth of work, including novels, scripts, essays, and critical works. In 2012, Kim was awarded the tenth Steed Award for ethnic minorities in China for her novel Chunhyang (춘향 Chunhyang), and received mainstream attention as a rising star in the Chinese literary world.
