Hur Yoon-Jung (1939-) is a South Korean poet who debuted in 1974 by winning the Shin Saimdang Housewife Writing Contest (신사임당 전국 주부 백일장). In 1975, Hur was awarded the Joongang Women Literary Contest Prize for Best Work (여성중앙작품모집 작품상). Her published poetry collections include Eoneu haneul binjari (어느 하늘 빈자리 An Empty Spot in the Sky), Keunaksaeui bimil (크낙새의 비밀 Secret of the Tristram’s Woodpecker), and Jajalhan pulkkot geu munjeone (자잘한 풀꽃 그 문전에 Before the Varied Flowers and Grass). •Poetry collection Eoneu haneul binjari (어느 하늘 빈자리 An Empty Spot in the Sky) (1991) •Poetry collection Byeorui nara (별의 나라 Land of Stars) (2006)
