Kim Iryeong is a South Korean novelist. She began her literary career in 2011 with the publication of the novel Wangeun saranghanda (왕은 사랑한다 The King Loves), which was adapted into a TV drama in 2017 and gained popularity. She has been mainly writing “historical romance” novels with new imagination about unrecorded histories.
