Lee Mun Ku (1941—2003) is a South Korean writer. He is famous for his unparalleled writing style which actively uses the disappearing vernacular language of Chungcheong Province. His most famous works, which are set in farming villages and depict the joys and sorrows of people’s lives through a warm gaze, are the linked novels Gwanchon supil (관촌수필 Essays on Gwanchon, 1977) and Uri dongne (우리동네Our Neighborhood, 1981).

The writer has published works such as 《Crouched Words》, 《The Yellow Maze》, and 《The World of the Left Ear and the World of the Right Ear》.

Park Sang-yeon (1972-) is a South Korean novelist. He also writes scripts and screenplays for TV drama series and films. He began his literary career in 1996 when he published his novel DMZ (DMZ DMZ) was published in the magazine World Literature. I Eunseong (1937~1988) was a South Korean novelist. He debuted as a writer in 1967 by winning the Dong-a Ilbo New Writer`s Contest for his short story “Nokseunseon” (녹슨선 Rusty Line). Seo Hyeonu (1962-) is a South Korean novelist who was imprisoned for taking part in democratization activism, and wrote novels with deep insight on the role of fiction in society.
