Gim I-hwan (1978-) is a South Korean novelist. He made his literary debut in 2004 with Ebiteojenui yuryeong (에비터젠의 유령 The Ghost of Evithezen). He depicts events occurring within a virtual world or writes about characters who go on adventures as they cross the boundary between reality and fictional fantasy world. In 2018, he received the Gold Award at the Chumiss Novel Contest, co-hosted by CJ E&M and KakaoPage, for 《I Killed》.

She decided to become a drama writer and began by winning an entry prize in the Dongseo Literary Award for essays at the age of twenty. She also received several awards in various competitions, including an excellence prize in the Kyobo Bookstore Story Competition. Later, she won a competition for case thrillers and published The Brash Psychopath.
