Kim Miwol (born 1977) is a South Korean novelist.

Heo Gyun (許筠, 1569–1618) was a civil official, writer, thinker and reformer in the mid-Joseon period. He left a large body of writing opposing Korea’s medieval etiquette-based education and criticizing the social contradictions of his time. Heo met a tragic death by execution after being implicated in a case of treason.

Gang Muji (1969-) is a South Korean children’s writer who debuted in 1999 through the Kookje Daily News with the story “Nooran ibul iyagi” (노오란 이불 이야기 Story of the Yellow Blanket). Lee Kiho (born 1972) is a South Korean writer. Lee Kiho is considered to be one of South Korea's most unusual writers to the extent that one critic has declared that the conventions of a story cannot be applied to Lee's work.
