Kang Shin-Jae (1924 – 2001) was a Korean novelist, essayist and playwright.

Since her first novel 『The Witch’s Bakery』, she has been a writer consistently exploring themes of 'death.'

Born in Hualong City, Jilin Province, China, she graduated from Yanbian University, Faculty of Arts and Letters, and came to Korea in 2011 to complete her graduate studies in Creative Writing at Chung-Ang University. She currently lives and writes in Seoul.

Kim Seong-han (1919-2010) was a South Korean novelist. He debuted in 1950 when his short story “Mumyeongno” (무명로 Lightless Road) won a contest hosted by the daily Seoul sinmun. Through his work, Kim sought to criticize the problems of human society that were beyond time, and from the 1960s, he focused on fictionalizing Korean history. Song Jeongyang made her debut as a drama writer when she won the 2004 New Drama Festival. In 2011, she received an award at the Dong-a Ilbo Literary Contest for her fairy tale Uri Jiben Halmeoni Han Mariga Sanda (In our house, a Grandma lives). She also wrote 2084 Jigu Nanmin (Earth Refugees), which received the excellence prize in the first EZ Book Green Planet Shami SF Eco Fairly Tale Contest, as well as Appareul Guhara (Save Father) and Eommareul Guhara (Save Mother).
