She was born in 1972 in Taebaek, Gangwon-do, and graduated from Seoul National University of Science and Technology. In 2001, she began her writing career after four of her works, including "Gomgom," won the Munhak Dongne New Writer Award. She is currently active as a member of the literary group "Bulpyeon.“

Jeong Geukin (1401-1481) is a writer from the Joseon Dynasty. In 1472, he was conferred the position of an official of the third rank without office for having taught the children of local officials, and he was so touched that he wrote “Buruheonga” (불우헌가(不憂軒歌) Song of Buruheon) and “Buruheongok” (불우헌곡(不憂軒曲) Music of Buruheon). He is known to have lived a life of integrity and simplicity. He was skilled in literature, and he wrote “Sangchungok” (상춘곡 Song of Indulgence in Spring), known as the first lyrical work in the history of Korean literature. Ryu Shiva (born 1959) is a South Korean poet, literary critic, and professor. When Ryu Shiva was working as An Jaechan, he showed a creative style of mysticism in contrast to the literary world at the time which preferred works that were more about the masses and resistance.

신재효
Shin Jaehyo (1812-1884) is a pansori theorist and writer from the Joseon Dynasty. He was a chungin (upper middle class) in the Joseon Dynasty but was later granted the status of yangban for his contribution to the country. He gathered pansori experts from each region and appreciated the art with other yangban, even educating people on pansori.
