Kim Chohye
김초혜
Kim Chohye (1943~) is a South Korean poet who debuted through Hyundae Munhak in 1963 with the poems “Sawol” (사월 April) and “Gil” (길 Path). Kim is a master of poetic tension, using clean and pointed language that overflows with human affection. Kim received the Korean Literature Award in 1984, the Society of Korean Poets Prize in 1985, the forty-first Hyundae Munhak Literary Award in 1996, and the twentieth Chong Chi-Yong Literature Prize in 2008.
