In 2022, he won the Grand Prize of the 5th Korea Science and Literature Award in the medium and short story category for “Luna.” He began his work.

Lee Sunmi (1971~) is a South Korean novelist. She made her literary debut in 1999 when her work Aranyaui yojeong (아란야의 요정 Aranya’s Fairy) won the Romance Fiction Contest hosted by Shinyoung Media. Set against the backdrop of modern history, Lee’s works have expanded the realm of romance fiction. Born in Busan in 1981, she graduated from Hongik University with a degree in Visual Design and from the Korea National University of Arts with a master's in Film. She has directed several short and feature films, with "In the Land of Fantasy" being a notable work. Her first novel, "Today's Mom," was followed by "Under the Mirrorball" in 2021. In 2023, she won the Grand Prize at the 11th Kyobo Book Centre Story Award for her novel "mymy."
