뉴욕 스쿨 오브 아트를 졸업하고, 국내외 애니메이션, 영화, 디자인 분야에서 아트 디렉터로 활동하고 있다. 지금은 글로벌 디자인 회사 모디자인그룹의 대표로서, 진실성을 담아 모든 이가 공감할 수 있는 새로운 컨텐츠 제작에 전념하고 있다. 『안녕, 폴』은 작가의 첫 번째 그림책으로, 이탈리아에서는 『Red Muffler』라는 제목으로 출간되어 많은 사랑을 받고 있다. 프랑스, 독일, 중국, 태국에서도 곧 출간될 예정이다.

Some writers believe that the goal of human life can be found in history. Some writers believe that the meaning of life is in intense moments that leave life in chaos. However, Yoon Sung-hee looks at life from a different perspective. Yoon Sung-hee would say that the meaning of life is in the moments. In other words, the true important purpose of life is in the feeling of the present, and the diverse emotions from it such as pain, sympathy, pity, and beauty. One literary critic has stated the characteristic of Yoon Sung-hee’s fiction as following. “The reality depicted by Yoon Sung-hee in her stories draws readers in with its colorfulness of a sensual present. Readers do not draw the story to the their own historical lives, but they choose to climb into the reality inside the story, and live along with the characters.” It can be said that Yoon Sung-hee’s literary aim is to create a reading experience that breathes with the rhythm of life, using fiction as the subject.

Park Sangseek received a B.A. in English from Seoul National University, a B.A. in political science from Amherst College, and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He taught in the U.S. for ten years before he returned to South Korea in 1979. He worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Institute of Foreign Affairs as Dean of Research and Chancellor for ten years. He also served as Consul General, Ambassador to UNESCO and to Singapore. He retired from the Foreign Ministry in 2000. After retirement, he served as Rector of the Institute of Peace Studies, Kyung Hee University.
